hi there:

I am a new guy here, please forgive me if i post something stupid! First of all, I am a Certified General Accountant (CGA) student, almost finish, personally after all the study of accounting, I found that I like finance more than accounting. However, i would like to get a CFA designation, but my question is how and what is the requirment? I know that it need a unversity degree (I have one), 48 months work experience(i only have the accounting experience, does it count?).

How long does it take to finish all 3 exams? and Can i start find a job as soon as i finish level 1 exam?

Thanks!

I am happy to say that I passed! Your study notes certainly helped prepare me for what was the most difficult exam I had ever taken.
